During adolescence, feeding and eating disorders (FED) can be observed, the most frequent being anorexia nervosa and bulimia. This disorder has been associated with malnutrition problems, menstrual, cognitive, metabolic and psychological disorders that affect the patient's daily life and in the future when they are already young. In adolescent twins, whether monozygotic or dizygotic, it has been described over time that eating disorders have a genetic component, which influences not only one adolescent twin but both. The following report shows the cases of two adolescent dizygotic twins with eating disorders. Likewise, we wish to approach this case report as a new one, since in the last decade in our country there is no evidence as to whether environmental and genetic factors are capable of causing this type of disorder. Also, we seek to provide information and recommendations on possible environmental factors for the development of eating disorders.
