Abstract

Dear Mr. Editor

Pediatric patients after surgery for congenital heart anomalies with right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) obstruction, such as those with Tetralogy of Fallot, will mostly require reintervention in the long term. The technique of percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation performed by Cardiac Catheterization is a new, safe and less invasive alternative compared to cardiac valve replacement surgery for the management of these patients.
