Abstract

Dr. Shimabuku, a distinguished pediatrician and neonatologist, was born in Lima on April 22, 1947. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of San Fernando at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) in 1972. Subsequently, he continued his training at the prestigious Kobe University in Japan, where he obtained his Doctorate in Medicine between 1980 and 1984
