Materials and methods. Descriptive and retrospective study of medical records of pediatric patients undergoing APD. Analyses were conducted using Stata v.12. Results. From a total of 191 patients, 54.9% were male and 23.6% were aged between 11 to 15 years. Flexible catheters were used in 30.9% of cases. Additionally, 151 patients had oliguric acute kidney injury. Laboratory analyses showed notable improvements, with the glomerular fi ltration rate increasing from 12.74 ml/min to 41.25 ml/min before and after dialysis, respectively. The most common indication for APD in cases and deceased patients was HUS. Conclusions. During the study period, there was a slight increase in the number of patients receiving APD. Additionally, there were improvements in clinical and laboratory parameters. HUS was the most frequent indication for APD, while catheter obstruction was the most recurrent complication.
